A customized 2,500 lb.-capacity transport cradle was designed to carry the Intuitive Machines Nova-C Lunar Lander from the manufacturing floor in Houston to the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL. Kennedy Wire Rope & Sling orchestrated the project.
When Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory needed a precision lifting device to be used during the assembly process for the SSRI crymodule sections of a particle accelerator, they counted on Caldwell distributor John Sakach.
The Caldwell engineering and technical sales staff brings decades of expertise in creating those “things that have never been done before.”
Not only do we meet or exceed ASME standards, but our lead engineer actually sits on the advisory board.
Take a look at some amazing recent projects:
When The Industrial Premium Group needed a robust rotating crane hook for its client Canam Group, they called on Caldwell.
The Canam Group, operator of 12 plants in Canada and the United States, had been using overhead cranes and a C-Hook to move steel coils as part of their metal fabrication processes for years. And while the C-Hook was working, the company realized that a motorized hook would help minimize safety risks and improve productivity.
After researching multiple options, Premium chose the Caldwell motorized rotating hook. With a 360-degree rotating range, flexible speed, a 25-ton capacity, and easy integration with existing Stahl Crane products, the Model 250 was the perfect answer.
